Bedford Roughyed
http://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2016/05/26/the-viral-letter-about-mis-sold-student-loans-due-to-retrospective-interest-hikes-is-well-meaning-but-wrong/ The letter is well meaning and does a good job in raising awareness. It’s been in all the newspapers, and indeed in articles in Huffington Post and The Guardian the letter has been linked to my own letter to the PM about retrospective changes. However, while I agree with the sentiment – and the fact many students have been outrageously mis-sold loans due to changes – the content of the letter isn’t technically correct, and shows a continued general misunderstanding of how student finance works, that could mislead some. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
