Doncaster Rugby League head to the John Charles Stadium this Sunday (2pm) looking to avenge the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup defeat suffered by the Hawks back in March.

Joe Pickets-O’Donnell saw red as Hunslet thumped the Dons 48-6 in the fourth round of the competition, with winger Richie Barnett scoring four tries in the process.

The Dons come into the match following back to back wins in League 1 and victory for Doncaster could see Gary Thornton’s side climb to the top of the table.

Head coach Thornton will be forced into at least one change for the trip, after Mason Tonks suffered a broken leg in last week’s victory against Barrow.

Connor Scott who received a red card in last Sunday’s game will be available for selection at Hunslet after receiving no further ban from the RFL.

Jordan Howden and Brad Foster who returned for the Dons against Barrow both came through the game injury free and will be hoping to retain their places in West Yorkshire.
