Great fixture structure, like the fact that we have two home revenues after the Oldham game and that Bradford and Halifax have been left to the end of the programme. Come on Town we can do it!

Note: Karl returns for the Whitehaven match!

Beating the jam and Oldham to keep us of the bottom could just have given us a very good opportunity, if we had finished bottom and had the jams fixtures then I would be massively worried.

its a big ask but if town manage to win the first 3 games then oldham will be the chasers going into the final 4 .

If Oldham even win one of the first 3 you will still be behind us  ;)

Town are 3 points behind Oldham, so if Town manage to win the first 3 games and Oldham only win one then Town would be 1 point above Oldham...

Town 11 + 6 = 17

Oldham 14 + 2 = 16

Simples!!!!

as i have said before with bradford and halifax being guaranteed the top 2 spots already , it will be interesting to see what sort of teams they field , they ultimately could decide who goes down depending on the strength of the team they field in particular games ....haven have bradford at home first game , lets see if they send a full strength team . .

I think the fixtures for the Shield have been kind to Town - gives us the best chance we could hope for at this point. Certainly gives a good chance of having another 4 straight wins. Hard to believe that would mean 7 on the bounce but its possible

Rhys Pugsley , has been banned until midnight on March 2nd 2024 , which in effect ends the young lads career after a second failed dope test .
