  1. Kruise Leeming could be in the mix as a backup hooker. Walmsley and Burgess are getting on so the younger props need to step up, Oledzki has been disappointing but there is still time for him to come good. Keep an eye on Noah Stephens from St Helens.
  2. I’d like to see them have a crack at Josh Shuster and Nelson Asofa-Solomona. Both players are out of favour at their clubs and could be open to a new opportunity. Hopefully Trueman is back soon and they need to get Balmforth into the team as well, not sure why Tony Smith didn’t play him but he is a great prospect.
  3. Yes it looks like only Lois Naidole & Katy Fisher were out and strangely Ellie Oldroyd on the bench. i do think they will improve.
  4. I know it’s already been said but Leeds were incredibly poor, it’s up to the coach to get the best out of his players but they weren’t up for it at all. Both Smith coach’s need replacing.
  5. Can only be good news I think so well done Giants. Will be interesting to see how they go against Leeds, I don’t expect them to win but I am hoping they are competitive and the days of conceding 70 are over.
  6. I would assume that would be TLeesha Frederick Maynard, prop who I’m keen to see her progress.
  7. There was a video on instagram the other day of Evie Sexton scoring 5 tries for Hull FC, looks a great player for the future.
  8. Yep watched Lauren Exley play for Sheffield v Fev and I was impressed, also I thought the other Valkyrie youngster Izzy Brennan was very good too. I see Abbie Millward has joined York too, excellent backup hooker option if Peach gets injured.
  9. I watched most of the games, my main interest was to see how Megan Pakulis got on. I was pleased with her performances although she did look fatigued by day 3 and 4 pro because she played for different teams. I hope she gets an NRLW contract but if not I believe she would go to WSL where she would be one of the top players.
  10. Definitely a good result and the fact is that every season over the last 3 years Cardiff have lost some outstanding talent to go back to Rugby Union. It’s a real shame they haven’t been able to hang on to Ffion Lewis, Bryony King, Molly Reardon and Lowri Norkett. if they get into the WSL then hopefully they can hold keep these top players.
  11. Keira Gittens is one from Rhinos to Valkyrie and another is a prop/second rower can’t remember her name.
  12. A couple of young players I’m looking forward to seeing this season is Ana De Silva at Huddersfield & T’Leesha Frederick Maynard (Valkyrie) A year younger than them still but one to keep an eye on is Izzy Rowe at Wigan. She is coming back from a knee reconstruction but I believe she was the gun player in her age group.
  13. Georgia Wilson is playing for Norths Devils, she said the coach Meg Ward convinced her to join them.
  14. Wigan have announced their squad so looking forward to Valkyrie announcing the squad. I heard Carrie Roberts may be going around again but nothing confirmed at this stage.
  15. I read somewhere, on Twitter I think that either Rugby League World or League Express will have a top 50 British Rugby League players list. Hopefully it gets people discussing the womens game. Also keen to see if any Super League South players get a mention.
