I hope the poor fella pulls through. Unfortunately rightly or wrongly, such incidents do tarnish us all and the club in a bad light.

1) Are your keyboard skills down to soft drinks then? 2) I go to football every week and have yet to see on field battles? In fact in 15 years I've never witnessed that at a game? 3) I thought considering the situation, we were lucky the situation didn't boil over. I hope you have put the equivalent post on the Halifax fans forum complaining and questioning why they were gesturing? Obviously fev fans shouldn't react but Halifax fans shouldn't have been provoking us to start with! (some provokers were women too!, only put this in brackets as you went to the effort of kindly pointing out some stewards were women). 4) You should be enjoying your win and not taking the time out to moan about unusual circumstances! What a magnificant job he has done getting us to gel so well. After watching him at the community day last sunday and tonight there is no doubting his ability. Up there with the best in my opinion. Compare us to 5 years ago and its amazing. Well done to everybody who has played a part in taking us forward, I honestly thought after losing against Swinton at home I wouldn't have a team to follow!

I enjoyed it too. Compare the club to 5 years ago and its a amazing. A lot more professional outfit and moving in the right direction. Important that people try and support events like this as it all helps.

Its becoming increasingly clear that Widnes were told when they were turned down last time that as long as they ticked the on the field performance box that they would be in Super League in 2012. I think its a bit unfair calling Widnes arrogant, its the fault of the RFL.

You have answered your own question, it was only his second game back. As Maureen has pointed out he scored an 80 yard try. 2 weeks of training and these games against the reserves, I really don't understand the problem?
