If I were him I'd call it a day, must be soul destroying.

Pele E and Watts F The panel blaming Hooley for been dumped on his head, to justify not applying precident because of the wcc Video refs at every game and a panel still trawling for unpenalised incidents to ban players. Hard to have any enthusiasm about the game currently, its basically a lottery of referring decisions which no doubt the 'panel' will be instructed to ratify any controversial decisions in support of referees.

Pretty much a sellout at Wheldon Road by the sounds of it, looking forward to a good atmosphere. Wigan will win. For us Cas fans (the pragmatic ones anyway) I think today we are looking for plenty of effort and athleticism from a much younger team then we have seen of late. It's year one of a rebuild so basically hoping to see a core of players with the potential to be part of that for thr next 3 years or longer. Probably looking at a line up of Hooley (25) Senior (23) Wood (26) Broadbent (23) Simms (22) Richardson (27) Miller (31) Watts (33) Horne (25) Lawler (28) Tasipale (23) El Zhakem (25) Westerman (33) Mustapha (23) Hall (21) Putt (27) Robb (22) Obviously not going to beat Wigan today but I'm far more enthused about watching them then the likes of Widdop, Edwards, Fonua, Fariamo and Co who had simply gone beyond there sell by date as SL players.

Fletcher Rooney and 17 year olds in first grade

Craig Huby was a month or so after his 17th birthday when he made his SL debut for Cas at prop. Jason QuareQuare debuted at 17, blazing away for a distance try with his first touch. -
The opposite, needs to be in the accounts filed by 30 November or it won't increase next year's score.

I don't think it's an odd thing to highlight. They know that the IMG score is on alot of fans mind, why not highlight that the investment brings in some extra scoring? Only the same as comments Beaumont has made about his investment. It was also to explain why it was reported by journos noting it on companies House before the club (because it needed to be finiised quickly with the accounts deadline looming).

Seems a genuine investment, to be spent on facilities and infrastructure. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/new-castleford-tigers-co-owner-martin-jepson-addresses-takeover-talk-as-he-outlines-goal-4437896

Confirmation published tonight. Jepson takes a 32% share, reducing both Ian and Janet Fultons shares, all three now have a 32%. Also investing a 7 figure sum into the club. The investment was made prior to the submission of the accounts to be used for the 2025 img submission which will obviously provide some additional scoring.

Not sure a company doing the type of developments his are are that hard up to be profitering from the downfall of the only professional sports club in his home town for a small gain...

Yeah, seems to me he's unlikely to do that to watch it die. Must be a plan somewhere.
