  1. Good win for local village team RCLA against high flyers Ille. Really surprised this game went ahead in bad conditions but the faithful were dished up a good treat. Lescure, bolstered by some help from the Albi squad somehow mastered the mud more effectively than the opposition. Some farcical moments but, a wins a win.
  2. Funny old game at the Mazicou with the best team taking the points. Loads of handling errors by Albi in the first half and indiscipline by Limoux in the second. Albi with more ideas nudged ahead by a bit of Gigot magic. Decent game before too with Albi too good for their Limoux U19 counterparts.
  3. Can’t ever recall Tony playing at centre.
  4. Yes, he’s playing out of his skin. This could be his last season though. Maybe he can be persuaded to have another season ?
  5. Antoni to Albi could be a handy addition . Cracking result for The Tigers at The Domec where ASC looked pretty comfortable at HT. Gordon, what happened to your boys ? A bit of a shock result ? Maybe not as Albi have looked pretty imperious in recent games.
  6. Crowd actually not that big, compared to previous games at The Mazicou. No idea why ? The conditions were mild but maybe the earlier ko at 1800 put some of the die-hards off ? An easy win for the home side with Tony Gigot running the show.
  7. Good away win for my village team RCLA over at Tonneins. Another clinical performance for Albi in Perpignan. Well done lads.
  8. Deffo wet but not that cold.At least the roadworks in the area seem to have stopped for the moment which makes access and parking a lot easier. Villeneuve had a lot of kids out on the park, they’re not bottom of the league for nothing.
  9. No idea about the stream but it was a murky evening showery on and off. It rained very heavily a couple of hours after the game though. I don’t know if it being a public holiday and school holidays affected the crowd numbers ? The main stand is usually pretty full.
  10. Decent performance by the juniors too. Disappointing crowd though for the main game with loads of empty places in the stand. Maybe The Leopards didn’t provide any ‘wow’ factor ? Jack Cook will be back for the away trip to SOA followed by two more away games, weird match planning !
  11. Good listings. You put Robin Brochon (TO13) third in the half back line and he has improved with each game. I would put him down as a contender for player of the season though I suppose Josh Ralph and Zac Santo to name a few would contest that. Robin looked just as accomplished during the early games in the season playing at fullback. A handy kicker too.
  12. Agree with that but I think new ideas are needed, the squad looked stale and half paced. London upped the pace second forty and used the ball better. To line speed was funerial. A shocking display by TO second half who didn’t have a Plan B. Santo was superb despite his injury, Shorrocks was awful. Thé TO game management was woeful. But, London we’re superb.
  13. Brilliant from London, cracking second half. TO we’re half a yard slower than London, no spark. The coach must seriously be considering his position. Houles was out coached today. Some of the TO squad just aren’t up to it at this level. Enjoyed the Broncos attitude cheered on by superb travelling fans.
