Hello Taffy I think it's already been discussed that SL are unlikely to expand from 12. Once we have the closed shop of 12 grade A clubs what catastrophic event is going to happen to allow a Championship grade B to overcome a grade A.

Various posters on this forum sugges that only SL clubs have a say in expanding SL.I accept this may not be true.

What do you think the SL clubs will vote for? I'm sure the rest of the clubs won't have a say.As Worzel says,there will be 12 clubs with the security of no relegation.

Once you have your 12 grade A clubs I very much doubt if a grade B club would qualify as A while being in the championship

So when you have 12 clubs who all have security from relegation,you have a closed shop.Where is the incentive for the majority of clubs iin RL to improve.Will IMG come up with something for them or will their job be done once they have sorted out the elite.

I could be wrong but I'm guessing Cas will only help if asked. If they have been asked or not,maybe we will never know.

In his statement MC says that along with another person they have invested upwards of £1.7M. Is any of this money meant to be in the form of a loan which they expect to be repaid?

As I understand it he only played 50 games for Fev.I would'nt have thought he would qualify for a testimonial match.What if any are the rules on this?

Do you think any French club in League 1 would be expected to pay travel costs for other clubs as per SL.Surely this would'nt be feasable.

I can see the justification for a London relegation.But if Leigh are relegated after a mid table finish the RFL will become a laughing stock.And that will be totally justified.

Batley got a fair bit of exposure last season.Whether they made or lost money I would'nt know.Has it ever been made public info?
