Doncaster Rugby League will open the Kingstone Press League 1 2017 season with a home game against Coventry Bears.

The fixture will take place at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday March 5, and will be followed by a trip to face North Wales Crusaders.

Toronto Wolfpack become the first North American club to play in an English competition, and will visit South Yorkshire to take on the Dons on Sunday April 19.

Toronto will not compete in the League 1 Cup, but will enter the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup in the third round along with the other 15 League 1 clubs.

York City Knights are not listed in the fixture list due to discussions over their future with the RFL, but the governing body still expect to have a 16-team league.
