A word for the referee. We will never agree with all refereeing decisions but I thought she handled the game well, penalised decisively what she saw and most importantly was consistent for both sides for full 80 minutes.

We have players with superleague and championship experience and York have Superleague and Championship players. Beaten by a better team.

Last years players seriously under performed and most were released. Those that were retained were probably seen to have potential and would be good squad members. As has been said we haven't even played a league game yet and are playing what most would consider our best team. If they are fit and available I cannot imagine why you would drop the likes of Jordan Turner and Elijah Taylor to accommodate players from last year.

Doesn't sound great but no investigation and no police case so give him a chance. I am sure he is aware that any indiscretion may entail a good "talking to" from the likes of Kopczak, Farnworth and Lawton etc.

Sad if some fans were using bad language. As an oldham fan I was approached by at least a dozen Barrow fans at the end of the game and they all said well done and good luck. Great fans.
