  1. A word for the referee. We will never agree with all refereeing decisions but I thought she handled the game well, penalised decisively what she saw and most importantly was consistent for both sides for full 80 minutes.
  2. Did Cian not score when he played for Workington? If so that makes 7.
  3. Let's not get carried away. Some thought we were going to get to Wembley before we were given a lesson at swinton and york. I don't expect us to lose this one but I am sure Cornwall will give it a go especially with copies of your email pinned to dressing room wall .
  4. Dave Naylor. . Well deserved. https://roughyeds.co.uk/2024/04/dave-naylor-our-techy-guru-wins-club-award/
  5. Dave. I have emailed club but no reply. Are allocated seats marked yet as reserved for rugby?
  6. I am sure it will all blow over. After all according to IMG and their robust integrity and sustainability checks they are one of the top 15 clubs in the country.
  7. Some crazy knee jerk comments after two poor performances albeit against championship sides. As for Jamie Ellis, he is no longer a young man but look at images from earlier in his career and you will see he has never been skinny.
  8. We have players with superleague and championship experience and York have Superleague and Championship players. Beaten by a better team.
  9. Referee not great but our discipline, defence and attack are woeful. Not much else to say.
  10. Last years players seriously under performed and most were released. Those that were retained were probably seen to have potential and would be good squad members. As has been said we haven't even played a league game yet and are playing what most would consider our best team. If they are fit and available I cannot imagine why you would drop the likes of Jordan Turner and Elijah Taylor to accommodate players from last year.
  11. Doesn't sound great but no investigation and no police case so give him a chance. I am sure he is aware that any indiscretion may entail a good "talking to" from the likes of Kopczak, Farnworth and Lawton etc.
  12. Sad if some fans were using bad language. As an oldham fan I was approached by at least a dozen Barrow fans at the end of the game and they all said well done and good luck. Great fans.
  13. Plenty of Barrow fans stopping to say well done and good luck in next round. Fans a credit to the club.
  14. Or on a more optimistic note it is the 79th minute. Score is 12-12 and the ball is passed to Kopczak on 4th tackle to drive to the posts. Instead he stops and knocks over a cheeky drop goal. 13-12 and the hooter sounds.
