Looking at the proposal i think most clubs could achieve a B grade with long term planning. The problem is most clubs want instant success to many teams seem to think it there right to be at the top table. A ten year plan by a club could be the way to go about it. Slowly improve stadium till you reach maximum points. At the same time start several young age groups teams as they go through the years your developing a bond between those kids and your club.Also there parents tend to become fans of that club. So your slowly building up your fan base. Social media points shouldn't be hard to get. Another point is that super league is not the be all and end all. When there was no promotion before it didn't mean it was the end of the Championship. There are some good games in the championship and rivalries has been built up in recent years. I do think the championship should be increased to a 16 team league. I know that only leaves 8 teams in league 1 but i think we could bulk that up with offering amateur clubs to participate in that league while remaining Amateur.

As a fan of the Magic weekend and as a neutral I love watching all the games. its a shame more fans don't stay for other games not involving there teams. My idea would make every minute and every score matter. What I would do is to split the teams evenly into two pools of six one called Tyneside the other Weirside. Each team would represent one or the other. IE TYNESIDE V WEIRSIDE 1 V 2 4 V 3 6 V 5 7 V 8 10 V 9 11 V 12 NUMBERS relate to league positions. Each team get 2 points for winning there match. Then the teams who win the aggregate between adding up all the scores for Tyneside and Weirside between the six matches get a bonus 2 points. So a team could win 4 points over the weekend.

A big mistake fielding the England Knights. To me the competition has now become worthless. Wane should have been able to select a team . We could have picked a mixture of first team player plus a couple of younger players to bed them into first team. As for the format I would have two pools of four. Top pool would have the best four teams in , playing a round robin. The top two would go into the semis. The third place team would play the runners up in pool two for a place in the semis.
