I still think the grading system is largely the right thing to do. But the fact that London's fate was sealed before the season started exposes a fatal flaw in the system. If London somehow manage to fight their way to 11th, their reward is being cast adrift. Why even bother? Is it even 1 up, 1 down? Could TOXIII also replace Cas? Could Bradford replace Leigh? This could have been so much better if any "B" winning the championship could replace any other "B" that finishes bottom of the pile. There still an incentive to become an "A" and guarantee your place, but without the embarrassment the sport could potentially suffer.

Couldn't ever bring myself to cheer for Cas, so it would be the foreign team. Not that Cas are ever likely to appear in such a game.

Fev looked like a bunch of under 9s trying their first game today. After some very encouraging performances, we decided today was a good day to serve up some utter dross against a team we really should be better than.

Taking someone out off the ball when it was likely they'd have scored is what it looked like, but I was 100 yards away with rain all over my specs.

That's true now. I'm a Ponte lad, only one Cas fan at Carleton High in the 80s and he was a lad that had been kicked out of Freeston High in Normy.

Ageing like a kipper behind a radiator. This is all so desperately depressing. I've been obsessed with this club since I was about 5. Can't remember a lower feeling than this.

BTW, it gets worse. Not been paying players pension contributions, fans ordering merch 5 months ago still waiting and we apparently owe transfer money to another club (I'd guess Warrington for Longstaff, who played 2 games )
