  1. Now that IS worrying. I can understand the drive to make the club successful means taking risks, juggling priorities and finances, but not at the players or fans expense. Not suggesting that Featherstone are in breach but it's essential that any company pays its employer NI contributions, PAYE deductions, VAT etc else it's in really big trouble. After so much work seems to have gone into keeping the club going, it would be a shame if it was all lost.
  2. A very lively Salford side tonight and had they won, surely no one could have complained. They are sure to cause some upsets this season. Did fitness and stamina count in the last 15 mins? As for the ref and his decisions, maybe more productive to look at player errors and skills instead.
  3. For us, it seems that games (and progs) on iPlayer are about 60 secs or more behind games (and progs) on terrestrial BBC TV, presumably because of the more complex signal path and data flow in the overall broadband/ iPlayer system. Not only does this help in getting Mastermind questions right, it means that the kitchen TV shows tries well before they appear on the lounge TV. This forum demands that all terrestrial TV is delayed to synch with iPlayer live feed.
  4. Not to labour the point but it reads like sentoffagain2 has other issues with the club , Championship etc..
  5. Nose, spite, face, in that order. Maybe we could set up a crowdfund page to pay the postage. Alternatively, you could have collected it from POR before the first game
  6. Sky? I trust you are reading this. I've conducted a poll and found that 100% of the fans polled want the practice to continue.
  7. Oh, you've done it now! We told you before, don't mention Leigh ! You know what happens when you mention them.
  8. There is absolutely nothing to sort, though . If you don't like the current situation, put sticky tape over the scores on your TV.
  9. I agree. After all, it doesn't happen in any other sport.......oh...er....hang on a min.....
  10. Some seem to want the practice stopped Others seem to want it to continue. I propose that the Forum contact Sky Sport directly and tell them very strongly that we are firmly, definitely, unequivocally ambivalent.
  11. I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave. I'm happy with it the way it is. I certainly don't want to see Sky being told that the Forum supports stopping the practice.
  12. But I think the late Peter Tinniswood has already done this in an episode of Uncle Mort's North Country.
  13. Gausch plays chess, whilst most UK club owners can only see the one move in front of them. I don't think that last sentence is remotely true of SL club owners. There maybe one notable exception who signs off with a , though.
  14. True. It's as if history has been forgotten. Wogan's Web was on BBC1 during the daytime in the late 1990s. That was quite funny in a dark way as he once threw darts at a picture of Carol Vorderman. Not a small target, though.
  15. You'll be waiting a long time. bated, which is a shortened form of abated, is the correct spelling.
