  1. Not sure what this is meant to be, but I'll leave it at that.
  2. Don't be getting too ahead of yourselves, he's had an encouraging start but so did Powell, as alluded to in my previous post. This is one of the reasons that Wire and their fans get the stick they do, you haven't won anything, Burgess hasn't achieved anything as a head coach, just keep enjoying what he's doing rather than bigging it all up. That's a change in culture that's possibly needed from Warrington fans too.
  3. They're a bit late celebrating this time, wasn't it early April last season when they had their league title winning party in the Kings head?
  4. Anyway, back on subject matter, attendances. From what I can find from this weekend Catalans v Huddersfield 5,892 Bradford v Toulouse 2,720 Swinton v Sheffield 786 Rochdale v Newcastle 379 Keighley v North Wales 1,096 Barrow v Dewsbury 1,675 Midlands v Hunslet 302 (at Sheffield) Oldham v Cornwall 1,136
  5. Is Ellis in it for the long term? I mean, he's obviously only just taken on the role of messiah and the lord god in one as far as Wakefield fans are concerned, why hasn't he been involved previously if he's that much of a fan and that rich ( apologies if he has tried to and I've missed it). If Wakefield don't get back into SL at the first attempt, is he likely to stick around and build the club up or is he just wanting the glory of a few wins and big crowds? Again, apologies I've missed anything as I don't follow the ins and outs of Wakefield too closely. But it seems that the timing was right for this guy to appear and be the saviour but is he just another Koukash/Green/Khan etc?
  6. Manningham RFC= Bradford City AFC Bradford RFC= Bradford & Bingley RUFC, Bradford(Park Avenue) AFC & Bradford Northern RLFC(Bradford Bulls)
  7. If I can finally get to see my team win the cup at Wembley before I exit this life, then I don't give a rodents rectum how many empty seats there are in the top tier
  8. Except no doubt Huddersfield will have to face a Lancashire side in their own back yard again I reckon
  9. It's easy to amass an impressive squad when you have money to throw at as many as you want in a hybrid full/part time league. Still, you still have to win games on the field as well as having a nice big pot of cash to play with. Where was this guy when Wakefield needed him?
  10. I thought Welsby kicking out on the full did for them, Wire just tore loose after that.
  11. Welsby has had an absolute stinker today, and therefore so have Saints, who are looking like they rely on him too much now. Bring on the wire!
  12. Top scorer in the NCEL Premier despite missing a few through injury
  13. It was a genuine question as i wasn't sure who was absent for Leigh. All teams have injuries and suspensions at various points of the season, it's part and parcel of the game, that's why clubs employ squads as opposed to a "first team".
  14. I didn't make anything up as you'll see if you read, I asked who was missing who would make a difference, someone mentioned Holmes, who's not really been a regular
