  1. Tony was an absolutely class player. He played in the mid 70s when we had a side that could match any other team. I think he played in the John Player Final against Warrington. We had a good set of forwards and some clever backs at that time. Really sorry to hear that he had passed away.
  2. Being a Luddite and not using Twitter or Facebook I looked on the Hornets web site to see if the match was on. I couldn't find any information. Luckily I decided after looking at the weather forecast not to risk buying a ticket and driving a just under hundred mile round trip. I've supported Hornets for 70 years being taken as a 5 year old by my Dad to The Athletic Ground. I find after so long I'm beginning to lose interest. This is no disrespect to Andy and co who are doing a good job keeping the club going. I think it is partly due to the long gap between home matches and partly the cost of £17 for admission and roughly another £13 for fuel.
  3. What time is KO for the London Skolars match? The fixture list says 13-00 but the article re match day plans say 3-00 pm.
  4. This statement was on Facebook. Good to hear no serious injury. We are pleased to announce that Jy Hitchcox has been discharged from hospital, and suffered no serious injury in yesterday’s game. However, his neck will continue to be monitored closely. We would like to thank the medical staff, from both sets of teams, for their care and attention on the field.
  5. Interesting response to RAFC statement on Hornets web site.
