The gap in class between SL and the rest will always be too great for there to be an upset and in this game Rovers players will have far too much speed and power for Batley, and their defence will find it difficult to Oldham stop them.

Rovers 22 Bulldogs 18.

Agree but you could have said hold 'em

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

Both teams will be up for this and if we can avoid our usual poor start will make for a good game. I'm hoping Batley can ambush HKR in much the same way we did Leigh on the opening day of the season. Whichever way it goes were going to enjoy ourselves #nowttolose

Usually in Sunderland, sometimes in Sheffield.

Write for a few rugby league websites, mainly about the Kingstone Press Championship.

Minns over,

Mantellato having trouble keeping the ball on the tee, needs a team mate to hold it upright. The Belgian wind sounds like it's whistling down the Craven Park pitch.

Greenwood scores from a forward pass according to the Blunderside commentators.

Jeez, how far forward must it have been?

Hull KR 36 Batley 6, Minns' hat trick try.

After Leak opened the scoring for Batley, he seems to have been prominent in their defence also.

Tom Lillycroft over for the Bulldogs.

Second half under way, Batley forcing a drop out and a bit of biff creeping into the game.

Good bit of pressure from Batley leads to nuffink but James Brown's been involved in everything...

Hull KR 40 Batley 12.

Sounds like Rowe has concussion but physio gives the thumbs up. Rowe then shows signs of not knowing where he is so Batley could be in trouble there.

Greenwood over.
