Conferance trophy semis

Recommended Posts

Yes that's right - game moved to Wed 24th. I know Hunslet certainly aren't happy about it, due to the potential for at least 4 players to be missing and the likely decrease in crowd.

The most frustrating thing is the club made clear to NCL/RFL this wasn't a good option for them and at such relatively short notice. Their response was laughable, blaming a mix up in NCL div 1 fixtures which therefore meant 20th was no longer a free weekend for Milford.

I think NCL/RFL have just taken advantage of it being 2 Leeds teams to play it midweek - there's no way this would've happened if say a Cumbrian side had to go play in Hull.

That said I reckon there will still be 300 to 400 there (weather permitting) and should be a great tie.

Well played to Mayfield today at Featherstone Lions winning 39-28. They were quickly 16-0 up before Gamble pulled one back for Fev but led 20-6 at half-time.The home side came back with 3 quick tries but Mayfields intensity paid off and 2 consecutive tries from Dec Sheridan won it for the Lancastrians.

I reckon there will be 300-400 there. Weather looks like it should hold out.

Sure it's going to be a cracking tie. From a Hunslet point of view I think almost everyone has been able to sort work commitments out. Still a fair few lads injured but that's no different to what they've had to contend with for last 3/4 weeks anyway, so there will be no excuses in that respect.

Not seen Milford since they played Hunslet Warriors last season so not really sure what to expect. They had a big win over Millom at the weekend so I'm sure they'll come into this with lots of confidence.....I'm just hoping not too much.....

Does anyone know if there's been a venue in Manchester officially announced yet for the final. Pretty sure it can only be one of two but would've hoped this would've been confirmed by now?

The venue for the final is at the Manchester Regional Arena, side of Manchester City's ground (Etihad Stadium). Anybody attending by public transport the tram would be the best bet.

Day Ticket £5.00p, Family Ticket £6.20p (Two Adults + 3 Children) and it will take you to the Grand Final at Old Trafford also later in the day.

At this moment I don't know the Kick-off times.
