The Phantom Horseman
There's a thread on the main Whitehaven fans' forum entitled "Ground under water" that doesn't sound too positive for Saturday's game especially with more rain forecast for the weekend. Hopefully that turns out to be pessimistic so don't shoot the messenger but they sound a bit wary about the pitch being playable.

elppaxr2i
They should rearrange it on a cup weekend when both teams dont have a game well into the season But this being RFL it will be on a weds night
Steve Slater
Swap fixtures. Play at fev?Or play it at Wakey or Cas as a Whitehaven home game. If they're bothered about the gate it would certainly be bigger. If played at Fev the reserve fixture against Cas X111 would have to be cancelled or brought forward to about 12:30, and Rovers would have very little time to sell hospitality. But not having to play a midweek fixture in Cumbria and 3 games in 8 days might be worth it?

Our pitch doesn't look reight cracking itself, IMO I think the Sunday game shouldn't go ahead either Im Fev and im proud

dydo
Its pretty obvious after the Leeds friendly and Batley league game that the pitch is struggling .why on earth we even thought about another game this weekends beyond me .
