  1. I was estranged from my parents for 15 years. Literally lived around the corner from them. My mother dropped down dead. I went to the funeral helped carry the coffin, but then was ignored and not invited to the wake. 5 years latter my father had a stroke. I visited him in hospital every day and we kind of mended the broken bridges. However, he was discharged 10 weeks latter and suffered a massive heart attack the moment he got home and died. I don't know the reasons for the issues you and your son have. But from someone who's parents cut them off, mend those bridges, if possible, before time catches up with you all.
  2. Me and the wife are doing "dry January", so no foreplay for her
  3. I've worked 04:00-12:00, 10:00-18:00, and 14:00-20:00 shift patterns, but the same hours each working day. I got used to each and everyone of them. I'm an early riser in general, and I much prefer this current shift pattern.
  4. I'm happy doing my shift pattern of 04:00-12:00. Get the afternoons, especially at the weekend for football and rugby, so it works out well.
  5. Up for work at 02:30, and on my days off, I'm usually awake by 04:00. Work nights, I'm asleep by 18:30
  6. And our very only legend, Geoff Pryce, started off as a winger before becoming a second rower
  7. Indeed. Less cash money, means less work counting and banking it, so a saving for any business in time and money
  8. Each to their own.
  9. Unless I'm missing something obvious? I'd pay with my debit card
  10. And yet I'm 58, and can't remember the last time I paid in cash for anything or had cash in my wallet.
  11. Too many mistakes on or around the last play, kicking game was extremely poor today
  12. Not sure. I like a bag of Percy Pigs and a strawberry daiquiri, so that's my fiver spent and parking sorted
  13. Treat yourself to a fivers worth of treats from M&S, and then get your receipt validated from one of the Vangarde parking officials, they have purple hiviz on, then you're good for 6 hours
