Thanks for doing a thread OF, good effort.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Time to avenge the 1990 semi final defeat by Warrington + Holdsworth?

(Paul Lord was miles onside! ish... maybe level)

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

We will give them a game that's for sure, the result doesn't matter particularly, with our injury problems,we only have 16 fit players plus 3 Dual reg lads. One thing you can count on if it is a nasty train crash then Warrington will know they have been in one too. We don't have any huge stars but more than make up for it with spirit and pride. I don't expect us to win, but this Oldham side will never quit, ask Hull KR if you need any confirmation of that! Up the Yeds!

Would be a nice gesture,if the Warrington club allowed Oldham to retain all revenue from this game.A few extra thousands would do more good for Oldham, than going to Warrington, who to be fair have got their act together both on and off the field.

I think this game will be similar to the batley v catalan game . Oldham will give us a tough first half. Wire to pull away second half.

2009 Warrington 25 Hudderfield 16

2010 Warrington 30 Leeds 6

2011 League Leaders Shield Winners

2012 Warrington 35 Leeds 18

Challenge cups and league leaders shields everywhere! We need more silver polish!

Bit of a procession in the second half. 6-70.

It's to be expected that once the heroic part time Oldham players came up against Super League opposition they'd struggle.

Oh, hang on...

Wilderspoolmemories, most of your support was awesome today as was your team, thanks for your post, proves that every village still has an idiot. Warrington were brilliant in the second half, class told in the end. Great gesture from Smith to go round every Oldham player on the park. Well played and all but one of your supporters were a credit to your club.Good lick for the season. P.S Watch the video,Lord was a yard onside

Tony Smith top bloke top coach, to go to the Oldham dressing room and praise them shows the type of person he is.

Yep. From BBC:

Oldham coach Scott Naylor: "Tony [smith] came into the dressing room and gave them compliments on some of the structures that they had and a lot of the things that they do.

"He said he didn't want them to lose confidence in the Championship and to take today's defeat in the right way.

"Just for him to come into the changing rooms was amazing because when he left and closed the door, you could see from the look on some of my lads faces that they were in awe."

Smith gets stick on here from time to time but I think he is consistentky a real sportsman and fine ambassador for our club.
