Wayne Godwin has announced his retirement from the Rugby League with immediate effect and, to commemorate his wide-ranging career, the 33-year-old will be 'waving goodbye' to the sport when the Rams host Workington Town at the Tetley's Stadium on Sunday.

I'm going to say yes. Just my opinion.

Was a good servant of the game after all.

How do you interpret "immediate effect" MR?

Game maybe; club, less so.

Definitely in the long list of also-rans.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

We got less out of him

Than leeds out of Chris vasey ;)

Godwin on a par with fozzard & domic

For shifts

But their excuse was...

They got injured

Not fecked off to a super league club ;)

Won't be missed & the dvd
