Feels like we've won a trophy tonight. Not too bothered about the fixtures in the 8s just a much needed financial boost for the club getting top 4, and think we've got the right man in Jon Sharpe to take the club forward with the right financial backing, Fev lad and brought the fev spirit back. Be nice if we can upset a sl side though and a few big gates

My daughter and grand kids came today they live in Huddersfield and my daughter Helen has been a Giants season ticket holder for years. They shouted their heads off for Fev and i am looking forward to Giants away.As a youngster Helen and i went all over the shop watching Fev she had a crush on Derek Fox her mate Allison had a bit more finesse she fancied one G.Steadman.We have lost touch over the years but today's game brought so many happy memories back. When our Ian was at school he said Brett Daunt and Tutta gave him the most help,we moved to Sheffield and at rugby practice Ian always wore his Fev shirt Ryan Sheridan would rub his head in the turf whispering i hate Fev,but to be fair next rugby lesson Ian still wore his Fev shirt, he got me watching the lads again when i almost gave them up so proud of our club today our players gave their all.

Didn't know until I looked it up that Briscoe is a Fev lad. He played as though he belonged to us and well done to the other Leeds players who helped with the victory along with a magnificent performance from our lads. As said Sharpe's ideas are coming to fruition. Going back to Briscoe I remember a Mrs Briscoe who lived in Chapel Street when I was a lad. No National Health in those days and she used to deliver babies and attend to dead people as a stand in doctor/undertaker. A well respected woman. Might be a relation going way back.
