roughyed34
TBF the Walsh tackle is far,far worse than Sammuts effort. Two totally different types of tip tackle really, the Catalan player is in an incredibly dangerous position and lands flat on his back, potential for serious injury there.Walsh seems to almost premeditate the tackle and released the guy in a ridiculous position. 2 matches seems right for that imho. Your right though the whole disciplinary system needs a serious overhaul, out of all this weeks potential charges only 1 or 2 were acted upon. Seems like they just do what they want, there is no consistency You can see the Walsh tackle here. .https://www.facebook.com/RLBanter/videos/857221137742375/
HARRYRUBY
There used to be a lot of tackles that were automatic dismissals. Tripping, Stiff Arm, punching and gouging seem to get penalty sufficient or similar. Tripping can break a players leg. Gouging can blind a player and punching can cause serious injuries. All could be classed as assault outside of a rugby field. If a player is injured in a match by foul play by an opponent and has to miss matches then the aggressor should miss the same amount of matches without pay. Little or no discipline in a match fuels problems for the game.
moorside roughyed
Indiscipline on the pitch seems to be matched by gross inconsistency by the RFL.As 34 said the whole disciplinary process needs overhauling from top to bottom. I've thought this for ages. They need to sort it and fast.Surely they have a duty of care towards all players.
shaw llewellyn
No further action against Gary Middlehurst. "Player disputes decision of Referee however does not use abusive language or behave in an aggressive manner. Sin Bin Sufficient. - See more at: http://www.rugby-league.com/the_rfl/disciplinary#sthash.fYDH57hU.dpuf" So he was not aggressive or abusive but still got a yellow card. If thats a new directive it will be down to 7 a side in next round of super leage games.

The Art of Hand and Foot
"I say referee old chap, that was a shockingly poor decision there my good fellow, surely you've made a terrible error of judgement?" That's exactly what Alan McCurrey used to say about 10 times every game. Cost us more yardage than any attacking team did.
The Baron Mk11
In the past when a player gobbed off to the ref, the ref gave 10 metres, don't see it used much these days, mores the pity, the offending player would soon learn to keep it shut, or his mates would shut it for him. We had two sin binned playing Toulouse for exactly the same offence. Have referees forgotten this tool in their armoury, or have they been instructed to use the yellow card?
