Enjoy the match at the ground. Haven't watched it back but I'm under no illusions that the try/no try was dodgy. They either both go up as a try or both as a no try. That's sport, and if it ruffles some Aussie feathers at the same time I'm all for it. I thought Penrith would blow Wigan away with how much territory they had. Odd decision to basically never test Wigan's line with a kick on the 5th too. Felt like they had very little ideas, whereas Wigan converted what little field position they had.

The ref alluded to such. Ellis tackle early was low, with a player falling and contact with an arm that's wrapping. Watts is only slightly falling but no attempt to wrap. The ref also suggested there was mitigation with the Smith incident but I didn't hear what it was. It seems whatever it was was sufficient to downgrade the red to a yellow.

It's hard to know the "Netflix" effect. It coincided with one of the closest (and most toxic) seasons of memory in 2021. Since Max has gone on to be dominant viewership is back to declining; quite significantly in some places too.

That's what I'm asking, if the same player knocks it back after knocking it forward (and it doesn't touch another player or the ground) is that sufficient? Can it only be knocked forwards and then backwards from the hands?
