Site back up now. So here we go Second game at Batley we were rubbish in the first half, both up & down the slope. in both games. But I must admit that the second half was a bit better, with Lacans pulling out is showed especially with our kicking. This young HKR lad as full back was action , they defended well but our attack is still not firing as it should. Waco is a waste of space and should be dropped.

The club should have put it out for consultation, and then they should have a better idea of the strength of feeling by the pensioners. Every bill seems to be going up , and has to be paid, but going to watch the Rovers does not have to happen. It is choice but bills have to be paid ( or there are consequences) A £5 is not a fortune but to some pensioners it could be the difference of eating/heating or not. So only the club has to make these decisions , and either rise or fall by their actions.

HI Steve, sorry to hear of your family illness With regard to attendances, I have sent a few mailbags to LE regarding this attendance issue, and why do the RFL not do anything about it. Is there ulterior motives in not releasing these figures, (to do with tax, VAT etc)?? Compilers of statistics must be tearing their hair out. Ian

Why do we support the Rovers. For games like this. 60 nil games against lower clubs is good for the 2 points but where is the true excitement. well today we had it in bags full, true blood and guts performance against the odds, full of old fashion winter rugby We were out on our feet with 20 minutes to go but we did it. The run up the hill by GG with mud on his boots was some finish.. A big club in the next draw will did out finances some good, and you never know at home with it p--sing it down , who knows with a spirit like this in the camp. Again, well done lads,. !!!!

Would it have been £20 if we had drawn a less fancied lower level team, (on paper anyway.) -

I think the club has made a big ticket price mistake with requiring OAP s to pay full price for their entry ie £20 -
