This is what I would like to see tomorrow at Craven Park:

Dallimore given the pivotal play-maker role.

Wilkes and Aspinwall leading and managing the troops.

Fieldhouse organising the defence from the back.

Ward having kicking responsibilty.

No stupid penalties given away.

And all players concentrating 80 minutes and being in the position they are supposed to be in!

Oh dear, it was a dream! What will be the reality I wonder?

To beat unbeaten York by 50-12 was amazing . The lads played as a team , their discipline was 100% better than last week even though York did their best to rile us. We were the better team today and we deserved the win ! Cresta will be one happy man tonight . His lads did him good ! Some next week please. Time for a few drinks !

Have you wakened up yet, most of your dream happened, still some silly mistakes, but when they got it right York couldn't stay with them, the forwards had their best game, led by a glimpse of Oliver Wilkes enjoying himself. The Half backs were a thorn in York's side for eighty minutes, well done, worth waiting for.

What a great day!

Barrow back on track and despite the loss we had over a thousand in attendance at our game

We were within 4 points of Keighley until late in the game so hopefully both my teams are on the up!!

Brilliant result and great all round team performance. Dallimore looked to really enjoy him self had a great game in attack and defence and a good kicking game something we have missed. For Danny morrow was probably the best player out there till that stupid tackle ran hard everytime and tackled like a machine. Overall great day and a team that looked full of confidence in the 2nd half

First of all, congratulations on a great performance today. You certainly needed to win.You certainly took us to the cleaners. As for the Knights,it's a difficult one.We had 9 players out through injury and a virus that swept through the camp during the week.Players playing out of position.Looking at your starting 13,I feared the worst.Oh and it couldn't have gone any worse. We need a reaction big time next week against the Crusaders.Cant afford to lose to many games in this league.Dont know if you guys play Toulouse home or away. Its a big ask to beat a full time team.Rochdale nearly did it the other week.Best of luck for rest of the season.

On a more sour note, what was that spear tackle all about? Our hooker had to be taken off and by all accounts still has shooting pains in his neck.No need for that in the game at all.Lucky not to get a red by all accounts.

From where I was stood the "spear tackle" for which Morrow was sin-binned wasn't a spear tackle, the Knights player was dumped firmly on his back, the only spear tackle I saw was in the first half, it was the one the referee didn't see as the sun was obviously in his eyes.

Last week I came home freezing cold and wet through, the dog hid behind the chair, this week we looked like the team we want to watch. It was noticeable, even during their warm-up there was different, more positive attitude and a desire that has been missing in the past couple of weeks, yes there were still a few careless mistakes that must be eliminated soon but for me that was the best 80min team performance, the pack laid the perfect foundation for the half backs giving them the time and space to do what they do best and boy did they produce.

With Hankinson kicking as well as he did and the half back pairing of Marwood and Dalimore working well I'm going to suggest Ward might just find himself sitting it out for a few weeks although the Knights number 15 did his best to put Marwood out of the game, if you want to talk about sending off then this was the perfect example, the ref lacked the nuts to get out the red card but I think the lad will be given an extended holiday after the disciplinary reviews the tapes.

PS The dogs happier tonight

The other question that has to answered is how did Morrow receive the head injury during the group huddle afterwards, I ccouldn't tell but it looked like he was clumped by the big number 8, did anyone get a better view.

An excellent win. Marwood seems to make a big difference.

Certainly York did not play up to the level their league position would indicate but given the reasons given above by Knightrider that is understandable, but you can only play what is in front of you and we did that in style.

Discipline was a lot better and there didn't seem as many stupid penalties - has the penny dropped at last? Two knock ons in the first five minutes and I dreaded the worst but we held on and I am sure that in defending the first set of five (from the knock on ten metres out from our line) the players will have gained a bit of confidence.

I am told that the number 12 decked Morrow - no doubt it will be on video. I thought the tackle (like the York one in the first half) was a good tackle that just ended up looking like a spear tackle when in reality no one had deliberately tried to lift the legs and plough the tackled player into the turf. A penalty yes but a yellow card definitely not as apart from anything else if it was so dangerous then the sanction is a straight red.

A great day at Craven Park , I haven't felt this optimistic since we beat Hunslet - but then what happened!!

The team has shown what it can do, they must now maintain and seek to improve that level of performance. A similar effort in our two previous home games would have seen handsome victories but we didn't deliver on those occasions. We cannot afford to drop down to those very mediocre standards in the coming games No more false dawns it has to be onwards and upwards.
