LANCASHIRE GOING FOR THE QUADRUPLE IN CUMBRIA

Recommended Posts

Can Lancashire Open Age and Lancashire Under 19’s sides make it a quadruple in Game 3 of the BARLA County Tri Series decider when both sides travel up this Sunday (25th November0 to play Cumbria at Wath Brow Hornets ARLFC?

Both sides have defeated Yorkshire over the last two weeks and Lancashire Open Age will be looking to win their first title in eight years and the Under 19’s will be looking to make it six out of six in the history of that competition.

They will be hoping lightning strikes twice and they are able to emulate the Lancashire Under 17’s side who travelled up to Wath Brow Hornets ARLFC earlier this month, defeating their Cumbria counterparts 32-14 to make it three out of three championships at that age group.

Given that Lancashire Ladies retained their State of Origin Shield with a 40-4 victory over Yorkshire Ladies in June to give them a 2-0 Series lead this could be the Red Roses’ finest hour and one to savour.

The Under 19’s clash kicks off at 1.00pm followed by the Open Age game at 3.00pm, admission is £3 adults and £1 concessions.
