WELCOME

If you haven't taken part in our competition so far this season, do feel welcome to join in. It'd be great to have you with us.

Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 9 QUESTIONS:

*Poll Competition:

Let's look for the big scorers this week in our poll:

How many teams in Round 9 will score 30 or more points by full time?

- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:

Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 9

*Points Competition

How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R9?

This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition:

How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R9?

In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:

R09%20NRL%202016_zpsmehh5rta.jpg

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.

Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone.

Enjoy your Rugby League! B)

"Rugby League is rugby in the simplest form in the sense that it's about great defence, great tackling technique, good handling, good passing, catching and great kicking."

Am I right in thinking not one person tipped Wests.

I didn't. But then I also tipped Manly before I realised Stewart and T Trbojevic were out and I tipped the Warriors, only to learn today that the coach dropped 6 players for disciplinary reasons.

McFadden drops 6

We could do a stand alone rep comp.

What would you like it to contain?

Well there are 6 games:

Aus v Kiwis

Jillaroos v Ferns

Junior Roos v Jnr Kiwis

Samoa v Tonga

Fiji v PNG

City v Country

maybe:

- 2pts for win + bonus point for

- margin 1-12 or 13+  or

- first (or any time) try scorer + bonus point for any additional tries scored by your nominee or

- total points scored in game: over/under 44 (or 50 or random number)

I don't care one way or the other - just have a week off.

Let's have a friendly stand alone comp then.

Not sure if all the info needed for some of the games will be posted and available here?

Let's keep it simple and tip the 6 games you mentioned above (will you have access to all the results if I haven't?) - with margins of win selected and bonus point for getting that correct (1 - 12 or 13+) -

So ... 2 points for win and bonus point available for correct margin
