Almost silly season but I genuinely saw blythe in carlinghow outside one of discos impressive property portfolio. Coincidence or is our new gaffer prising away a few bulls to our hallowed turf.

Mmmmmm the intrigue.

What is a certain though is that disco will have a few bits of conversation to do with odsal and kevin once the £££££ are known. Not just for "a" team squaddies but first team additions too

Interesting to find out which championship club Craven from Widnes is going to. He's been on loan at Fev, but it's not them, that's confirmed by the player

He's off to London, the new Sheffield.

Why "the new Sheffield" Graham?

Good team, no support, no ground I get Graham's analogy even if you don't BSJ

But not "no money" which is the analogy I thought was being made.

Could not the same bard be aimed at Swinton, Oldham etc. ?

they have a ground at ealing i doubt london will move for a long time

Yeah KTF not until the next move at least, and do get me wrong I think their new place is excellent, it's just not theirs!

I thought/believe London have a backer or backers and weren't simply doing it like the majority of teams in the championship, I doubt they could exist fulltime without this support?

Staying full time, paying good contracts on gates of about 600. I know they've got a good backer unlike Sheffield, but what if he pulls his money out? Another bail out by the rugby league? Plus how does this salary cap work?

He's not the backer, he is the owner and has remained committed to their cause throughout the last six years. He retired from his occupation as a commodity trader in the capital to work full time as London's CEO this season. The only real similarities are difficulties with a permanent ground and a loss of support, which is related to the former.

Despite antipathy neither club are exactly fly by nights.

Now, apologies for this deflection, back to the thread.

Well sad to say but i don't think he will be missed much, let in so many try's this season and i think only ball he has ever caught was that great 1 in NR final, going forward a decent player but even then not done what he should have and can't defend what so ever.imo of course
