marklaspalmas
I wonder how we will line up for the Halifax game. It is just 3 weeks away and seems ludicrously early as a pre-season fixture, some 6 weeks before our first game. JS says it will be a mixture of 'old and new'. Let's see. https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/

sentoffagain2
I see Duckworth as a future centre,he has the size and pace and his defence is ok.Not an easy position to play in the modern game but i think he could make the change.Coach him in what is required and see if he can develop the handling skills a centre needs. Blue Pike
Halifax are going dual reg with Salford.Their coach mentioned us as benefitting with using four Leeds players at times in the team.

These games usually just tend to be for fitness and fans as most teams do not even start working with a ball until January.
The Blues Ox
Halifax are going dual reg with Salford.Their coach mentioned us as benefitting with using four Leeds players at times in the team. The other offer was from Leigh which I would have preferred but it seems there is still quite a lot of dirt been slung Degsy's way by one or two ex players and we wanted no part of it as we could in theory have ended up with some players tied in to that. Anyway needs must.

Blue Pike
I know we got 200 k plus for Newlove and transfers were big numbers in the old days but it has been rumoured we got a fee of 60 k for Zak which could have paid the wages for a half decent player dropping down to our league. For 60K you could get 3 very good players at this level. On the transfer front I remember Deryck Fox turning us down to move to Bradford for about 100K.
