what's going on

Recommended Posts

I keep asking the same questions but don't get any responses

Eagles TV sets off like the best thing since sliced bread - every match covered and both preview and reviewed by Mark - highlights up within hrs rather than days or even weeks

Prematch programme the same issued by email at least three days before home matches

prematch talk to 300 club - didn't get off to a good start but came good after a few weeks

where are we now

higlights on TV delayed - last one up was Dewsbury and we had seen that already on Rams TV

No sign of Mark since April

No prematch email programme

and no pre match talk to 300 club

and judging by performance against Keightly team have gone on holiday too

it's just so disappointing when you feel it's finally coming together for it to be so frail and fall apart so easyily

The Supporters Club are in the after match suite every game and are easily contactable via email. I personally am at every game and am well known so any questions please feel free to ask me.

Regarding the other points please feel free to talk to Simon Proctor (Match Day Manager) on any match day or contact him via the club. He will be happy to respond to those points made.

Point taken BUT not all of us are able for whatever reason, and in my case it is to get my grandkids back home after the match, to go to the after macth suite. Perhaps you could hand out flyers as we are queueing for our half time drinks.

I have raised some points with the club management but to be honest I think their main priority (and rightly so) is to get the transition to Bramall Lane working proprely so that hopefully next season things will run more smoothly.

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday

So much to do, so few people to do it.

We rely a lot on volunteer labour but there's only so far you can go down this road.

For me personally it is difficult to do anything during games due to my media commitments. We are looking into putting something in the match programmes but this is all cost and time. Watch this space though.

Griff's right. Ive volunteered on many levels for the club for a few years now but you only have so much time you can give.

I know there is a lot the volunteers do and I for one am very apreciative of every thing that the volunteers do but the things I am talking about are the things the club should be doing as a professional organisation - when they commit themselves to doing things - promising 300 club things - producing emial programmes - they should happen - no use blaming the volunteers - sorry chief exec - JUST DO IT !

Couldn't agree more. Volunteers are important but they can never do as good a job as full time staff because they don't have the resources - particularly enough time. Core work has to be done by full timers.
