  1. I believe it was similar for Riley Dean as well where Warrington were having to chase money for his loan which ended up with them just sacking off the deal.
  2. This. Missing out on promotion last season you would imagine that Campbell knows the game is now up. They are miles off been where they need to be according to IMG so I imagine like so many other teams in this division they will just do the bare minimum from this point.
  3. Confusing statement saying everyone was paid on time but yet some players are still owed money. From a PR point of view Campbell leaving could be one of the best things that happens to Fev but from a financial point of view you have to feel like this could be a disaster for them.
  4. Managed to get a fiver on at Skybet and plumped for Warrington, Sheffield, Barrow, Huddersfield on an acca but only got 6 point start on Barrow. A little bit annoying as in the lead up to the game could have got up to +18 on them. Noted that Bradford could not raise a full team for their game and its going to be a very long season for them despite getting off to a winning start in their first game.
  5. First week I get somewhere near with the results and my post missed the cut off. Fev the one that I got wrong, I thought Batley might have just snook that one. Had the Widnes game a lot closer so that sounds like a good win for them and although I had Donny to beat York I thought there would only be 4-6 points in it. 1st week but with their troubles you can't help think that Haven's win could be very important for them.
  6. Is it just Skybet offering odds? Some of the odds on there are printing money but I can't get anything on with them.
  7. Bradford Bulls v Warrington Wolves Warrington by 66 Cardiff Demons v Barrow Raiders Barrow by 24 Huddersfield Giants v Hull KR Hudds by 28 Sheffield Eagles v York Valkyrie York by 54 St Helens v London Broncos Saints by 48 SUNDAY 17th MARCH Leigh Leopards v Leeds Rhinos Leeds by 30 Salford Red Devils v Wigan Warriors Wigan by 36 First set of games so some big scores expected. I don't really see ay shocks but maybe Huddersfield the one where they might not be as convincing as maybe they are expected to be. Ive always a keen interest with how Bradford are doing, they picked up a surprise win against Stanningly a couple of weeks back before losing to Oulton who couldn't raise a full team but they won't get near Warrington and to be honest I think they would only be around mid table in league 1 this year with the squad they have put together which includes a lot of girls picked up from League 2 or merit team leagues.
  8. Im not sure but I am sure these days they tend to have a name and photo on them so makes them worth very little in someone elses hands.
  9. Yeah its a ridiculous amount of money for postage. I'm surprised so many people think that is ok.
  10. Ive just spotted a flaw in the new structure idea. What happens if the Championship team that is meant to play in the playoff relegation/promotion game has attained enough IMG points to gain a place in SL?
  11. That win bonus clause in Mathieou's contract is a strange one and I'm surprised that has not come up before. Maybe it will set off a "Were you at a club and contracted to recieve win bonuses but were sent out on loan? If so you could be due compensation" thing.
  12. Strange that Bradford went against it, afterall they just make their crowds up anyway so it shouldn't really affect them in that sense.
  13. Totally get where you are coming from. I saw that about pensioners getting charged full at Dewsbury on the Fax forum. Totally ridiculous in my opinion, I think the prices are too high overall for the standard that we watch but needs must, but yeah for me I really enjoy been involved in the amateur game and that will probably be my choice this Sunday instead of going over to Dewsbury knowing I can watch the game back in full a couple of days later. Im not sure about this, there is talk of teams like Salford, despite them been a mess, actually getting an A grade in the next rankings. I get the feeling we will be at 12 within 2-3 years as the bar has been set so low. Back to this decision though and the Championship stand alone as it will be after this season is a fantastic competition and has the potential to be as close as ever once London come down this season to be replaced by Wakefield so to weaken it just to help the competition below seems like madness. Can you imagine the outcry if it were suggested that Super League had to reduce at some point to even up the Championship for whatever reason?
