In all honesty, the club are on a hiding to nothing when a player submits a transfer request. If they block his move, you've a very disgruntled player with the possibility of him being a disruptive influence and then the alternative is he goes and you have to fill his spot. Plus supporters very unhappy. Think the club have made the correct decision. Any player who's not fully committed should go. Its happened before and nodoubt will again.. just hope the club have something up their sleeve, could be a long season otherwise. As others have said don't think he should be back on dr either. Wonder what chisssy's upto to....

Cracking posts wasginger and pretty much sums up my feeling about the future of the game and our club. Regarding the £2m from WMDC, hasn't some of the money (600k?) been used to purchase millennium house in order to create a new access into the stadium from Station Lane. Then to build on the existing car park? Although not see anything confirming that the money is from the Council. If not it might explain the significant reduction in the squad and lack of upgrade to the lights.

A really good result with some stand out performances. Thought Briggs was much improved and looks like he's been practising his goal kicking. The extra 2 really makes a difference. A couple of niggles though, we still seem to be giving too many soft penalties away for comfort and I wish we would take the two points on offer when we get a penalty under the posts. Overall much better.

Cannot believe that JJP cannot get a start after his performance the other night! Why fly these guys halfway around the world if they cannot make the team to play Rochdale, clearly they don't seem to figure in his plans and I would have thought that JJP would have provided much needed creativity from our half backs. Poor decision if correct.
