This all day. It's simplistic to tot up all your missed chances and say you'd have won. There is no way anyone can say how the opposition would have reacted to your team scoring. It could easily fire the opposition to go on a three try burst. I remember people saying if Tui had slotted all the two pointers over that he missed against Wigan in the Challenge Cup final we would have won. That totally ignores Wigan and what their reaction would have been, which knowing Wigan would certainly not be to lie down and capitulate.

As previously stated game on - https://www.giantsrl.com/article/8397/game-on-vs-castleford-|-all-fans-in-core-stand-lower Cas fans take note - 'Away Supporters (Castleford) will still be situated in the Magic Rock Brewing stand as normal, but are urged to pre-buy with the Ticket Office being understaffed due to the weather. The Ticket Office is open, but as above, fans are urged to pre-buy online to minimise disruption.'

Ian Watson turning things round at Huddersfield

A John Wesley quote from 1757 - "I rode over the mountains to Huddersfield. A wilder people I never saw in England. "The men, women and children filled the streets and seemed just ready to devour us." Nowt much changed there then... Makes me proud to be Huddersfield born and bred. -
That reminds me of one of the first times I wandered across to Hull from Huddersfield. Decided to follow a car whose driver was obviously an FC supporter. Ended up in the middle of some estate (ableit turned out to be reasonably close to the ground) where the guy got out and went into the nearest house. Think he'd just gone to his Mums for dinner...

Very disapointed when he left the Giants. Great player and one of my favourites. -

That's more than we get to our own away games - did you take their name and address by any chance? I could pass it on to Ken Davy and I'm sure he'd give them a free season ticket for next season. -

I wanted the best team to win. If Wires won then that spreads the trophies and the joy around or if Leeds won then that would (maybe) reduce the Wire glamour fervour on this site. (I get a bit tired of the 'Ryan Atkins brothers cousin ate my gerbil' stories). Having said that it's good that the Wire have broken into the top 4 mentality. Well deserved victory. Disliking the opposition because player(s) wind you up seems a common theme. Lee Briers certainly falls into this category. A bit of a John McEnroe, you don't like his mouth but can't help admire his talent. Looking forward to the playoffs even more now.
