  1. The highlights (from the halifax point of view ) are on you tube. The kick out by fairbank that was given as a sin bin, looks like a straight red, appear to look at the dewsbury tackler and then kick him straight in the face. The disallowed whiteley try, given as an penalty for obstruction was a poor read on the halifax player behalf , greensmith never ran into anyone.
  2. Officials for sunday Referee: K. Moore Reserve Referee: J. Brook Touch Judge 1: S. Jenkinson Touch Judge 2: C. Hughes Time Keeper: M. Hebblethwaite
  3. Under 18 season ticket at rams is £5, £2 on the day, they are doing a reduced season ticket for 18 to 22 which is £100 ( early bird was £80 ) so dewsbury do recognise the value of attracting the younger element, its just like all rl fanbases it's getting older, it's not a case of over charging its a fair price for all adult supporters, which hopefully enables the club to continue into the future. The hard part, for all clubs especially the lower league is to attract and keep the younger fans, there's lots more choice of things to do on a Sunday afternoon than when we started watching rl
  4. The reasoning behind no concessions is that 20 years ago the spilt of supportes was 70% to 30 % concessions , now it is 30% to 70%. the other way. I think you will find more clubs doing this, with the match ticket being a ground entry tickets so it costs the same to sit or stand, your choice. The whole matter of concessions at sporting events is a throwback to past years, do concessions apply to food shopping, restaurants , concerts etc, it applies to transport but only at state pension age in West Yorkshire . Why should clubs, who are business's, give away cheap tickets to a percentage of the population who have more disposable income than a family in there 40,s. Some may say it's for being a loyal fan over the years, but I know plenty of fans who have 40 years supporting, at what point do you become a loyal fan !!
  5. Ronan Dixon (Dewsbury Rams) – Grade C Dangerous Contact – 1 Match Penalty Notice, for the tackle on Blackmore, nothing for flanagan for the incident in which he was sin-binned. Dixon will be banned for the Sheffield match ( should we win on sunday) or the Halifax match
  6. Rugby league.com then onto governance, then ref appointments , they normally appear some point on Tuesday afternoon

  8. Or a draw between the two teams have won there other match, that would upset the rfl grand plan
  9. Tracy’s funeral will be held on Friday 2nd February at 12:30 at Dewsbury Crematorium, with her wake at Heath Cottage Hotel in Dewsbury. If anybody would like to make a donation, the family have chosen the Cavell Unit at Dewsbury & District Hospital, who have been incredible in supporting and caring for Tracy over the last couple of years. Collection boxes will be available in the crematorium, or there is a link below to use. Tracy asked people to wear colour. Her favourite colours were blue and purple, so if you’d like to wear something this colour in her memory, that would be lovely. If you feel like you may like to attend, please confirm your attendance through the link below. https://www.funeralguide.co.uk/obituaries/119061?fbclid=IwAR1MH6xbjjmekrDHGdZZB-0LRNH-fFrpk7vIeXOvH9p66ezJzz4ddOhqLig
