Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Never seen a mountain lion/cougar in the wild, though chances are they have seen me.  Seen coyotes and black bears.  The coyotes walked up a trail I was sat next to, they didn’t see me but I didn’t have camera to hand.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Tracked a Wolfpack in northern Finland for a month back in the early 80s that was really something

You tracked 'em but did you see 'em?  Did you get up close for a personal meet and greet?

Never seen one, been to Yellowstone and kept my eye out but saw no bears or wolves  I respect black bears but don't fear them (when I have done walking in the USA wilderness its what most people think i should be scared of).  Brown bears are a different level of nasty!

It was sheer hell.

I had to drop the derailleur down a gear on my way to work.

Storm Eleanor took out power for 200 houses in and around our village from 2.00am this morning and as SSE couldn't get them reconnected this morning they sent this

Image may contain: one or more people, tree and outdoor

out to provide free hot food and drinks and provide a mobile phone charging service.

Genius.

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT???  My God, look at the green grass, its GREEN!  And the clothing, look at the clothes...its like California!

Bad here, real bad and getting worse...next 10 weeks will be Hell, a frozen solid Hell!

11:52 AM EST Friday 05 January 2018
Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:

  • Bruce Peninsula - Sauble Beach - Tobermory
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County

A prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected.

An Arctic ridge of high pressure continues to bring cold temperatures and brisk northwesterly winds to Southwestern Ontario. Windchill values are not expected to recover too much today before dropping this evening and overnight to values of minus 30 to minus 35.

Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.

Check on older family, friends and neighbours.

Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle such as extra blankets and jumper cables.

If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside.

Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.

Oh give it a rest will you

You're like an Australian banging on about barbecues or a belgian banging on about how much better their chocolate is.

We get it, you get snow in Canadia it's just quite boring when you make it your defining feature.
