Canada Wolverines v USA Hawks Sept 24

Recommended Posts

I am having trouble finding any information about this game on line. The Canada RL site has no build up or information on ticket prices etc. In fact its still advertising the Sep 3 game against the Lions!

Am I missing a link?

The website hasn't been updated no, it's best to follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

Thats not a good sign  if the national team website cannot be updated. The game is 5 days away and the general public know nothing about it.

The website used to be excellent with full information on upcoming games.

Were none of these things conditions of entry for a team as members of the RLIF ?  This is not some tin pot third world country, its a country with a team in the professional leagues of rugby league.

Hi everyone,
Just to keep you informed the Canada Rugby League board outlined a new website as one of their main priorities. The CRLA is currenty in the process of this total rebuild and are only able to keep the main scaffolding in place to keep the information rolling out. I trust you will be excited to know that our new website will be first class when it arrives in the coming months. Thank you for your support of Canada Rugby League.

Just to keep everyone informed on the team:

I've split a lot of posts out into another discussion as they are good posts, but got WAY off topic.

Wonder if any of those in town will be attending the Toronto Wolfpack tryout earlier in the day. Casey Clake and Taylor Alley would definitely be good enough to make the team.

From the horses mouth, Wolfpack coaching staff will be using the international as its own try out.  Great opportunity for 34 blokes.

Looks like me and my brother are going to the game tomorrow, and possibly a friend of mine. I'll try to take some good photos.

Well there won't be many bald blokes with beards wearing old Bradford Bulls shirts there so give me a shout if you see me. ;)

Will do! Young guy with a small beard and a Canada RU jersey most likely- probably a lot easier for me to spot you!

A flat performance and mistakes at crucial times saw Canada Wolverines lose to the USA Hawks 8-14. A last minute converted try to Hawks winger Jon St. John sealed the win.

Canada were leading with 10 to go and basically lost it themselves, but overall a very even contest where both defences were difficult to break down.

Any idea what the crowd was?
