Swinton Predictions

Biggest game since the Doncaster game in 1994 - hopefully with a different outcome.

Huge following going over the pennines by the looks of it too, should be a great atmosphere, especially if we make the qualifiers and win.

Whats anyone predicting?

Hopefully a win and not a nerve wracking one for me.

What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

We need to start quickly, unlike last time and unlike our usual game plan, and get our big men running from deep when we are on their line. Watching the Dewsbury game highlights, they still have that great pace in the backs but look vulnerable up front!

A long stressful afternoon I predict. but hopefully we will be dancing at the end!

Their pack wasn't up to much against us last Sunday so if JK sticks to his favorite gameplan you should roll over them.

clown, good luck in the mickey mouse cup at the end of the season and get your begging buckets out to make up your cash shortfall compared to last year.

A bit harsh! I think it was tongue in cheek. Saying that, if the London win by a similar margin l wouldn't be disappointed.

Catch 22 for me, I would love to see Batley make the top 4 but if by some miracle we got in at their expense I would take it. I think Batley have been a very honest team for much of the season and more than deserve their place in front of Fax who IMO have underperformed and got what we deserved. I will also be cheering on Fev this weekend as well as I also think the way they have performed for the most part of the season deserves a top 4 place in front of the Bulls underperforming primadonnas.

Similar points win to London, but first comment got it right, we can't afford to continually keep giving the lead away early. Although we went behind to London on Sunday, we had been the stronger side and been held up 3 times before they scored in the 20th minute, but we're usually behind in the first 5 minutes. Swinton did it to us at The Mount and just kept turning the screw. If they can do it again, they'll have their tails up and it could be a struggle then. Even if we don't score early keep them out as well, the longer the game goes on the better for us.

It will be very good at Swinton with no problem as far as the scores concerned, maybe not open fluent rugby that some expect every match but a performance to win the match. Prediction after a normal start 16-46.

I'm excited in fact getting very excited as where a few in the Central Club last night.

In fact as I have said before I'm not bothered by the score provided we score 1 more point than them, but wouldn't it be nice to put a few points over on them(sorry Swinton).

See you all over there in a few hours time.

Cheers Roger.
