Fatest try in Rugby League? Tyrone Chipchase under 7 seconds

Great name for a Rugby player.

Mind you, so was Vic Armbruster. :P

Fatest try in Rugby League? Tyrone Chipchase under 7 seconds

From last night's game, which unfortunately had to be abandoned due to another Manchester Rangers player Connor Winfield receiving a spinal injury.

Love it.  Is that his real name or does he just score a lot of tries from chip chases?

They need to try something different, maybe a little Tyrone Chipchase.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I agree; they've got to get the message out.

How is Connor?

Connor is thankfully on the mend. He has a nasty fracture to his T10 and T11 vertebrae along with soft tissue damage which is causing him significant pain but fortunately MRI scans showed there was no damage to his spinal cord.

Yesterday, he took his first steps after the injury which was great to see and the doctors think he will make a full recovery over time.

Good to hear that his condition is improving.

I think we all thankful he has received no damage to his spinal code.

Hi Tex,

We believe you are closer to the mark than initial tweet. The initial tweet was from a crude stopwatch in real time, having looked at the footage back and slowed it down frame to frame, we think the try was scored in 6.77 seconds. We are currently awaiting conformation.

I am just going to say under 7 seconds from now on!
