  1. Definitely a game of 2 halves, 1st half we played some brilliant rugby resulting in some fabulous tries especially the one by Broadbent, at half time it should have been game over, but the long stoppage didn't do us any favours,(Hope the guy in question makes a speedy recovery) Dewsbury came out after the break a different side, we played into there hands losing the ball on the 4th and 5th tackle countless times, thankfully a late Jono drop goal settled the nerves but that was far too close for comfort. On a positive note Charlie had a great game today, arguably his best in a Barrow shirt.
  2. Thanks for that, looks like Ryan needed to hire a van to get that lot home.
  3. Looks like Ryan Johnston has cleared up at the awards Night, very well done to him, can someone please post all the winners on here.thanks
  4. Batley up next week wont be easy, but I think we have enogh points in the bag now to stay up
  5. I agree losing Gillam lost us the match
  6. Thought their 27 Adebiyi was the best player he had a great game, Cougars were very dangerous and were probably the better team, I expect both teams and Haven to stay up comfortably
  7. Got beat 60 ha ha ha
  8. You can stick the Challenge Cup where the sun don't shine, RFL completely ruined it with the ridiculous format. And they think by introducing the 1895 cup will help sweeten things for clubs outside Super League.
  9. Up until the Haven game we have had no reason to segregate away fans, the stewarding has always been sufficient to deal with any issues, and I never seen a police presence at the ground for as long as I care to remember, a lot of the staff employed by the club on match days are volunteers so it is too much to ask them to refuse entry to anybody under the influence of drink or drugs.
  10. No mate, the Bulls fans like most teams in the Championship will be made welcome at our ground with no segregation in sight.
  11. Barrow Raiders have been charged by the RFL following crowd disturbance during our Good Friday defeat to Whitehaven. And have released the following statement. The club has been charged by the RFL for failure to adhere to codes of conduct, failure to control the crowd, misconduct of spectators and conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game. In light of this, we are aiming to try to identify and interview any supporters, either from Barrow or Whitehaven, who were either inciting violence or committing violent acts in the video (shown on Facebook) We would be grateful if any of our supporters were able to forward names and contact details of anyone acting inappropriately in the video. We do not want trial by social media, whereby innocent people are wrongly accused. We ask supporters who are able to share information to do so confidentially by emailing steve.neale@barrowrlfc.com. 13. I think we've written off Kyle Amor's suggestion of basing a Cumbrian team at a new ground at Kendal, what has been suggested though on here and the thread on the General forum is sharing 3 or 4 home games between the 3 Cumbrian clubs, whilst keeping the 3 clubs alive in the Championship or League 1, its far more sensible and cost effective option.
