I don't think that's the case at all and is certainly not the impression I have got. Someone from St Helens has to somehow go and watch a Latics game for this to be the case. This has been going on for decades, long before Latics have been on TV or the JJB Stadium days.

No, I am talking about people from St Helens. The people you refer to aren't rugby fans, they are Football fans that hate rugby and Wigan rugby.

I can understand that a little more given Leeds United are one of, if not, the Premier Yorkshire Football team and are the Yorkshire version of a Liverpool or Man Utd. Saints fans choosing to follow Wigan Athletic instead of the plethora of North West Football teams just seems weird.

I suppose the difference there is type of player. Walmsley will always be effective due to his size and can still be effective for spells. Farrell is all about workrate and big minutes and I think any decline is always more noticeable in that type of player.

Yeah, it would be a typical Hull FC signing at a time when they need to look to sign players that would improve their culture. Schuster isn't going to do that.
