  1. Manningham RFC= Bradford City AFC Bradford RFC= Bradford & Bingley RUFC, Bradford(Park Avenue) AFC & Bradford Northern RLFC(Bradford Bulls)
  2. If I can finally get to see my team win the cup at Wembley before I exit this life, then I don't give a rodents rectum how many empty seats there are in the top tier
  3. Except no doubt Huddersfield will have to face a Lancashire side in their own back yard again I reckon
  4. It's easy to amass an impressive squad when you have money to throw at as many as you want in a hybrid full/part time league. Still, you still have to win games on the field as well as having a nice big pot of cash to play with. Where was this guy when Wakefield needed him?
  5. I thought Welsby kicking out on the full did for them, Wire just tore loose after that.
  6. Welsby has had an absolute stinker today, and therefore so have Saints, who are looking like they rely on him too much now. Bring on the wire!
  7. Top scorer in the NCEL Premier despite missing a few through injury
  8. It was a genuine question as i wasn't sure who was absent for Leigh. All teams have injuries and suspensions at various points of the season, it's part and parcel of the game, that's why clubs employ squads as opposed to a "first team".
  9. I didn't make anything up as you'll see if you read, I asked who was missing who would make a difference, someone mentioned Holmes, who's not really been a regular
  10. Fair enough, I thought I'd seen some criticism of him, so he's not really a premier player Leigh are missing the last couple of games then?
  11. Where's the bitterness? I was complimenting KR and Lewis for a good second half turnaround, I thought they were both poor in the first half. It's getting to the point where everytime a Huddersfield fan posts anything, it's taken as a dig or being bitter, people need to lighten up a bit and stop taking things to heart Good luck in the semi final unless you get us, I best not comment though
  12. Castleford Wakefield Featherstone Leigh Rugby was the dominant sport in Huddersfield upto the late 1910's when Huddersfield Town under Herbert Chapman became successful. Both clubs had similar histories throughout the 20th century but football is now king in the birthplace of the sport.
  13. I think you're the one who is obsessed, I'm commenting and discussing things on a match thread involving Leigh, isn't that the jist of these discussion forums? The narrative from Leigh is that they have a vastly understrength team and are unable to put out a competitive side, yet there are internationals and fine players scattered all over their team. Or are we only allowed to comment on our own teams? No one other than one eyed Leythers are obsessed with Leigh and Derek Beaumont. I commiserate on losing the game and bid you goodnight.
  14. O' Brien and Holmes have both come in for some criticism from some Leigh fans this season, are they really premier players? Would Hughes/Halton/ O'Donnell not be suitable replacements for Holmes? if not would they not start over him? Mulhern, Asiata and Ipape, granted, hard to replace, but Dwyer has just signed so more than efficient replacement for Ipape, although clearly not as good. Moylan did a decent job replacing O'Brien and McNamara can play half back or hooker. It's not like you didn't have replacements, admittedly, 3 of those would be a big miss but that's really only 3 major players that were missing, hardly a crisis which some Leythers are making out. In my opinion anyway.
