Discuss the SL Play Off Semi Final 2 between Wigan Warriors and Hull FC here.

With Halloween coming up I decided to go to my local fancy dress shop to see if I could get a Dracula costume. After a few minutes the assistant handed me a Hull KR shirt asking "Is this suitable?", I replied "I think you may have misheard me, I said I wanted to look like a count."

See Wire thread for considered opinion. One thing we have shown is resilence and I think we will make FC work very hard for their win, which, given Wire's walk over against their easy beat opposition will either leave FC battle hardened of depleted. Encouragingly for them the 2 teams who won the double in recent times both dipped and then picked up again about now...

depends totally whether mr wane returns to the bang bang  game play then hull will win and probably over the season deserve to reach the grand final. However if the kids and the rest of the flair players are given freedom to just play then hull will be tested beyound the training ground preparation which the structured play wigan have played and therefore confusion might just rein.

I'd never be surprised by a Wigan win despite the injuries. They seem to be able to maintain a level of consistency regardless of personal.

That said if Hull are able to put together a good performance I fancy them to have too much.

The bookies appear to disagree with me as I have backed Hull at 13/8. Hoping for a Hull win and Mahikihi to spring a surprise in the Arc for a nice double!

It will be tough for Wigan with their ever increasing injury list. O'loughlin is a bit miss but they've been getting by without him. Anyone know who FC are missing?

Nothing definite but the fact that Jordan Abdull has been brought into the squad suggests that he's in as cover for somebody who might have to withdraw.

Oops wrong thread.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Looks like Abdull's been eating your posts seeing as they're repeating on here.

Frankly, I'll be amazed if we end up winning at the Piedome tonight. The entire latter half of the season appears to have been ridding us of that monkey and now, as a team, we just look like we need a rest.

I suspect we'll get a long one at around ten o'clock tonight.

Should be in t' Anvil around 6pm later on this afternoon if anyone fancies joining us, I understand El Padgio is turning up.

Wiggin 32 Hull 14.

Are you ok with directons to the ground?

Absolutely.

The time it takes to get there however, is another matter.

32 -14

no way

more  probably after last night depends totally on specsavers and whether the officials have taken up cheap options.

all i can say may the best team win on the day, with after last night a equal playing field

Maybe just tactical. Combat the pie eaters with a pie eater.

that is precisely my previous point if wigan take on hull in a forward battle hull will win. but if the wigan flair players are allowed to play then what is trained on the hull training ground will go out of the window.

the question then is can hull handle spondanious play  last week suggests they cant.

hopefully mr wane will be brave and leave his natural instincts  to be negative. either way grand final win for wigan/hull after last nights robbery of a saints final appearance, which i painfully admit

I think the signs have been there since Wembley that our race is run for this season. Some of our key plays looked as if they had nothing left in the tank last week. Having said that, the team have exceeded my expectations all year and shown us we should never give up on them. As you've said, at least we're not at home. All of our best performances have come away from the KC (I'll get used to calling it the KCOM eventually) this season.

See you later, It is a limo you've hired, right?

"It's about 110 miles back to Hull, we're pi**ed off 'cos we've just been stuffed, we've got a full tank of gas, it's 10pm and it's dark and thank ###### we're leaving Wigan...hit it!"
