  1. A guy you wouldn't look at twice off the field was the biggest amongst giants on it yesterday; Nyle Flynn was absolutely enormous, end of. Ben White, created most of the breaks Can't separate Walshaw and Woods for 3rd.
  2. Threw it, couldn't deal with a rolling ball with no pressure, couldn't take the 2nd half kick-off, 3 and bit minutes to go on attack, scrum, first pass from it forward, less than a minute to go poor choice in collecting high ball, entire 2nd half let the opposition play globetrotters and march forward on us, a number of barge tackles put in with no effort to wrap. Great 20 minutes, ineffective last hour, disturbing change round. Ill-discipline again with umpteen 6 agains, an afternoon which won't have pleased the coaching staff. We don't want to be saying 'hard lines, we gave Fev a game', we need to be saying 'what the h*ll just happened there?'. It was ours to lose and there was a massive conspiracy of events which made it so. Feel gutted for the smallest forward on the field who played like a giant, massive weapon for Flynny, stood in front of Springer, Albert and said 'come on then' and after once they didn't.
  3. MoM. White 10 points. Moore 7. " Walshaw 7. " Flynn. 3. " Ward, Buchanan and Briwn 1 point. White 3 pts, Moore and Walshaw 2 pts, Flynn 1 point.1q

This might not be the tie we really needed. Doubt there'll be the massive crowd we hoped for for a start, 2000/2500 isn't going to bring us a massive financial windfall if we lose. Better to gave lost with say 3000 Leeds fans coming over. If we were to win it could be bitter sweet for Linners who would be under massive pressure and could get sacked from a job that us Batley fans said he deserved in the first place!

    V Cas at home!!
  6. RFL won't want a Championship club anywhere near the quarters, all 4 will get tough ties. Even SL clubs failing to pull up trees will be expected to beat Championship opposition anyway....
  7. Just noticed on the video that George Senior is in kit and appears to had a head wound set didn't think he was on the sheet? Anyone confirm yea or nay please?
  8. Absolutely marvellous win, Widnes fans are blaming the ref straight away! So long suckers!! Well done our lads!!!

Considering Linners' bit on LoveRL, 10 first choice lads out, we ought to be sending him 2 or 3 players this weekend!!
  10. Understood. I think I'll have the same numbers as you!!
  11. Redditch are you totting up as no results showing recently?
  12. Had another engagement today, heard sporadic 1st half commentary and all second half and what I drew from it was that we had little incisiveness, coupled with the odd lazy touches and poor communication on passes and moves despite the amount of time, possession and pressure out of which the commentators were expecting better results. Then we pick up a new injury, if Butterworth isn't fit next week let's hope Mitsias is fit, he's played there on a couple of those snips we saw. Wonder why Morton didn't play again?
  13. Had just been looking at an old photo of Stephen Ball, with Mr. James McVeigh and John Etty at the opening of the 'new' short stand and then I see another post a minute later that John has passed away at the age of 97. Another joining the Batley Greats who have left us. RIP.
