  1. They wouldn’t be able to play for any other club though, Player can only return to the NCL for there community club
  2. The rule states ***In the first instance, a Player may only be Community Game Dual Registered to his Club of Origin (being the last Community Club that the Player has previously played for). The RFL will check and confirm this*** So if both players signed from Z club then that’s fine in that but you can’t be signing players up who have not come from that club
  3. I thought this duel reg was for players who sign recently and not getting a game, One these players played for Keighley for 11 years, And I take it both players signed from West Bowling as well
  4. If that was the case then why have trails at the start to pick a squad to play the trail game. Like a job interview gotta be good when it counts not saying he wasn’t but must not have shown up as good as others
  5. But again it comes down to how he performed in the trail game. Its ok scoring try’s for fun for your club but if you don’t perform well during a trail game then sorry won’t get picked
  6. This weekend see’s the biggest amateur derby as Egremont take on Wath Brow
  7. Won’t matter now trail game has gone, That’s when he should of shone only way he gets in now if there few drop out due to injury
  8. Sorry but this is not what the duel reg was proposed. Whitton is Cornwalls 1st choice full back is he not? The duel reg is or was proposed to give players who have signed semi pro game time rather than them sign and not play much.
  9. I thought this was to give players who not getting a game at semi pro game time. Not for teams to sign established players
  10. Did he show up well in trail games though if not then maybe not been picked on that basis. You can play well for club all year but if don’t perform in trail game then won’t get picked
  11. How ###### we have an all amateur tie York Acorn v Brow and they choose two semi pro ties.
  12. Cumbria League does or did have the same arrangement as when Jake Bradley signed for Haven was able to play for Hensingham Cumbria League side. Well it’s a trail just have to see how it goes I suppose
  13. If you can only sign players who signed from your community club up here not many teams in West Cumbria have players who signed, Those who have players playing for Haven or Town are main players for them so wouldn’t be offered up to play
  14. I don’t think the duel registration in the NCL will work to well up here in Cumbria, What’s other peoples view
  15. Sorry but Egremont would been in round 1 as they were NCL Div 1 this year, that’s why West Bowling and Heworth are in round 1, All teams in round 2 are NCL Prem from last year so it’s Kells & St Pats who are missing. if am honest unless you get home draws or a tasty derby game your not gonna make much money. Most NCL teams are already paying for buses for the NCL season so playing in this adds extra costs that most teams could do without
