  1. The 80s? First time I was attacked at Post Office Road was in 1967. It's a very long standing tradition.
  2. Neil Fox played in four decades, fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties. Not sure how long he played in total.
  3. First time I saw Karl Pryce he was 17 and I was convinced he would become the best centre on the planet. I know people who know him well. Suffice to say, the kindest thing you can say about him is that he was a bit too laid back.
  4. One of my all time favourite entertainers. A truly awful way to cap off a terrible year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50948921
  5. My mum and dad were also there. They wouldn't take me as I was only 4. Spoilsports.
  6. Absolutely. If you don't like Queen or their music, don't go see the movie. Simples.
  7. The target audience for Bohemian Rhapsody is fans of the group and their music. This may sound obvious, but it seems to me that a lot of the critics aren't fans, and thus may be expecting something the movie never intended to offer. It's not a warts and all biopic, it's more a Freddie Mercury tribute. Clue: Executive Producers are Brian May and Roger Taylor. They were never going to approve anything which risked trashing their, and Freddie's, reputations. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  8. I did wonder if the writers were frightened of causing controversy during the election campaign, but surely that's what political satire is all about? I've got it on series link so I'll give it another go, but it needs to improve massively. I'm glad John D found it funny. As webmaster on here he certainly needs a sense of humour.
  9. Newzoids launched tonight following much fanfare heralding the 'new Spitting Image'. Can't say I was impressed. The puppets are recognizable but the voices in the main could be anybody. And despite an absolute army of writers the programme was pretty much joke free. Anybody else see it?
  10. Documentary on ITV4 at 10.00 tonight about Jason Robinson. Has this been on before? And if so, did it mention Rugby League?
  11. Didn't even know they'd dumped it on me until I read this, but the removal tool works a treat so no harm done.
