TotalRL.com in Back! I think....???
Barry Badrinath replied to John Drake's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I was wondering if someone had criticised a referee, and that had made you pull the plug in frustration -
i'll give you another one, looking further afield last game of the regular season saints and wigan are tied at the top for the league leaders shield whoever they're playing could have ramifications for the other play off places. Will fans at that point(certainly ones of teams involved) suddenly change their minds and be desperate to know how its going in real time, or will they be content to wait till full time to find out their fate?

2024 Transfer Tracker
Barry Badrinath replied to Gav Wilson's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
he did alright at salford and catalans. i was pleasantly surprised that warrington signed him, just about. he's had a rough time here, and being a powell signing, that's been held against him this year. -
Super League Coverage 2024
Barry Badrinath replied to Dave T's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
the 20 minute replays have gone, i think they're showing full replays now, i'm getting a lot of dupes that are 2hours long on my tivo box, they aren't being stored under 'live super league' games. so we're filling some serious minutes for sky. -
I thought that about the warrington game on Thurs, a lot of the audio seems more reminiscent of the catalans home games when sky talk over their footage. Wouldn't surprise me for the Friday nights when there's a lot of games on. One other thing, has baz left sky now? Despite them needing more on air voices, I cant recall hearing him, he has however been on the BBC last week

its a weird one, you would have hope last year when it was trialed at whatever level, or the pre season games, there would have been a big enough sample size to cover all eventual possibilities, Personally i would have gone through everything that resulted in a head contact suspension last year, and hopefully got at least half a dozen examples of what fit what criteria. so you could avoid this sort of fallout, i think maybe had tom amone been red carded in round one, there might have been more focus on that incident, i know there was confusion about the suspension when that was handed down. and has since been downgraded

i'm not quite sure what the cas player did there to cause any problems for himself.

The smells of Rugby League
Barry Badrinath replied to meast's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Walking past the front of the bevan stand pre match at wilderspool where the changing rooms were the smell of wintergreen was pungent, great memory -
mahoosive over reaction coupled with a flounce....
