RogerT
Mr J Bleom. I have a feeling that is going to our hardest match of the season, taking into account we only beat them by 1 point twice earlier in the season. As I have said before I'm not too fussed about the score so long as we win by at least 1 point. Cheers Roger.

I will go for my usual prediction of nothing more than one score between them. Here's hoping it is to us!
graham fisher
It looks like Dave Allan will be suspended,he's in front of disciplinary tonight, he'll be a big loss to them. I'll go Batley by
bulldog4ever
Having stole victories against haven earlier in the season this is 1 fixture I have been worried about and it wouldn't surprise we if it's another 1 pointer. Dion aiye caused us no end of damage and if we stop him, we stop haven. Found a way to win lately and we're smart enough to see this one through. Get through this and a Bradford loss at Leigh and we're almost home!!!

phildog
It's all up in the air. Elsewhere I posted the last 4 games of Fev, Fax, Bulls n us. Apart from Leigh, Bulls have 3 easier looking games, Fev n Fax have to play each other and we have Fev n London, plus a tough one at Whitehaven, and Swinton won't roll over just to do us a favour, so nothing's nailed on. John Kear keeps saying that they're not looking at where they might finish, just ticking off the games 1 by 1. This week is another tick off the list and it's one we can't lose. if we do then we're in catch up territory, win and the other are playing catch up. Just wonder how much damage the losses v Oldham and Swinton are going to do to us in the final analysis. This bunch of players have laid it on the line week after week in a pressure cooker atmosphere, they have to do it again 4 times just to get a crack at the 'big' boys, then have to keep doing it 7 more times after that. Our position is as much in the hands of teams around us than it is in our own. You would reckon that Bulls are going to drop 2 points, Fax or Fev are going to drop points in their game, so realistically, what can we afford to lose? Currently, our chances of finishing in the top 4 is entirely in our own hands. if we keep winning, that's where we will end up. The reliance on other teams only kicks in if we lose! I also believe that it is just a case of bringing out the old cliche of one game at a time. As a supporter, I can only see up to the next match and am fully focused on that one, so I guess that is what the team is doing. It certainly provides an interesting contrast to this time last season though!
Blind side johnny
Rumours rattling around would suggest that Fev won't be as competitive as they have been. Paying players late and threatening some with wage cuts doesn't seem to work in motivational terms for some strange reason. Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

bromleybulldog
Minikin in both Cas and our squads for the weekend. Assume this is depending on Jake Websters fitness at Cas. We need Minikin to make at least one more appearance for us before the end of the regular season (he's on seven at the moment) so that he can be available for the end of season eights group and avoid another Fairbank moment!
