Hope Mr Guilford is paying the transport costs to the game and refunding season tickets to those who can't get to the game.Any chance Andy from radio York getting a reason from Mr Guilford why he is still at the club and his so called directors have not come to agreement with YCC over the new Stadium?

Getting close to despair here too, but still just about hanging in there and still hopeful things will get sorted

On club website, Knights are running free buses for all season ticket holders.

This is getting beyond a joke now and I do appreciate it is going to be difficult for people to get there and I know others are refusing to go because of this mess.  BUT how I look at it is none of this is the players fault and they deserve our support so I hope as many people will try and go for their sakes if nothing else.

The more fans who go, the longer this farce will continue. Any season ticket holder prepared to part with their money and not kick up a fuss is part of the problem.

Can see what Lady knight is saying about not been the players fault, but we should not be giving up home advantage to any team and the blame lies at Mr Guilford door. He has had 3weeks since our last home game to negotiate a deal with YCC to get us playing in the City of York, but no he would rather send us to fevtherstone to play in a empty stadium on a Friday night. Also what about the supporters who are not season ticket holders, do there not coun't as been apart of the club?.What a shambles.

He's not just had 3 weeks Paul, the new directors came on board in January to try to sort this. Still no further on than we were then, there'll be more lies peddled over the course of June when we're having to play 3 home games away as well.

Fairly certain that 'He' is not involved in any talks (would actually be a bit difficult..) and fairly certain the council elections have caused some delays, but 3 people are talking and while they keep trying to get a solution they will get my full support (and the support of others who nowadays dare not come on here for fear of been slated)

Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't the transitional period offering free training facilities which we are now paying for , free use of bc which we are now paying for, a % of bar takings of which we now get nowt as well as coaches being laid on at considerable expense. The man must have deep pockets. And all the time fans including me are losing the faith

sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward

I admire your loyalty colin, but there comes a time when enough is enough

John - other people (not JG) are trying to sort this mess out - give them a bit more time before giving in

I actually reckon BC will be sorted for 7th June v Rochdale if only for the reason that we will miss the game & be in Spain - in fact, £10 from me to any charity of you're choice if it isn't

They've had since January. One of them bailed when John wouldn't stop meddling.

Bootham Crescent won't be ready now until mid July no matter what happens.

Send the tenner to Spinal Research please.

As I said Simon, it is only my view, we are all entitled to our own opinions which I though we could express on here, obviously not unless they are the same as yours. As Shades said, a lot of people no longer come on here because of the aggressive nature of posts. I won't be posting again but will continue to support the player & coaching staff.

Don't worry Col, I'm keeping the faith!!

A few home truths: the pitch at Bootham Crescent has just been reseeded so no way will it be ready for the Knights at all this season, even if they sign up with the council tomorrow. That means games in Fev for the rest of the season (other West Yorkshire venues are available)

The director who walked away has stated that Guildford is still approving (or not as the case may be) any offer from the council. The council have stated that they will not work with Guildford. The Knights board have been in negotiations since January. Why should anything change now? If a deal was there to be done, it would be done long before the first ball was kicked this season.

Guildford has constantly been lying to the fans. Can there be anything more disrespectful than that? The latest one is that the safety certificate at Bootham crescent is holding up playing there. Then there was the Q&A which hastily got removed when the council refuted almost the entire thing.

Guildford will run the club into the ground, then use it as a stick to beat the council whilst saying none of it was his fault. He had the chance to pass the club on to someone with a bit more integrity, but chose not to entertain the idea.

Enjoy the Season, it's probably going to be our last. (In the current incarnation)

Speaks99 - just a few thoughts (not an argument).

I reckon the Knights have 9 home games to play after this Friday night (includes one to re-arrange).

If you look back to 2014 York City FC's 1st friendly game at BC was played 12th July.

Now assuming that City will roughly want to start at the same time again next season, that would mean the pitch would need be ready at roughly the same time as 2014 and therefore would be ready for the Knights to play their last 6 home games.

It would not be ready for Rochdale, Skolars and Swinton home only

Of course its all completely irrelevant until JG goes.

I too am keeping the faith. I believe the 3 directors are doing their best to sort this despite obsticles being put in their way.

I guess you cannot blame the football club re-seeding their pitch, but what would have happened if we had signed the deal and been allowed to play at BC,  what will happen at the new stadium which is to be used 365 days year how can that be maintained? I think someone is playing games and its NOT JG

They manage at Doncaster & Wigan to name just 2 grounds that host both RL & Football. Amazing what they can do with modern pitch technologies (that they don't currently have at Bootham Crescent). It's not just a field anymore you know, all sorts of interwoven fibres in the grass and allsorts.

Had the Knights signed a deal to play at Bootham Crescent the pitch work would have either been done around our fixtures or home games would have been switched to the away venue and visa versa.

There's no great conspiracy, honestly!

Would it possible for from the supports club to organise a public meeting for those supporters who are not in the know and try to explain what the situation is at the moment regarding the future of the Knights and is anything we could do to keep the Knights going and playing back in the City of York.
