Do we get a backhander from sky if they're showing the game?

Last year I seem to remember Leigh complaining about this after they were featured a few times in the middle 8s, so I suspect the answer is still no. AFAIK, the set-up is that Sky pay a big wad of money and then choose to show (or not show, in the case of the Champiosnhips) whatever they want, whenever they want with no further payments.

The combination of Saturday televised fixtures and people inevitably being away on holidays meant that last year some of the crowds in the middle 8s were a bit lower than might have been expected. Leigh reported 7,000 for their home league game against us but didn't report a single 5,000 crowd (assuming those figures are correct) in any of their 4 home middle 8 games. So we might not get quite the bumper crowds you'd expect, but one thing's for sure, it will still be more than the 1k or so we'd have probably attracted to our home games if we were in the Shield.

I certainly think we have got the rub of the green with our home fixture though. All three Leeds Leigh and HullKR have all got good away followings

So who from Leeds will be playing for us seeing that we are playing them? The team selection will be interesting as some of the Leeds lads might have opted to play for us. Depending on that who is eligible for the other games? Any info received yet about the DR players decisions?

if we had the choice and could pick the three.... i think those are what id pick from a fiscal point of view.

Batley is my fav away day so nice to go to the mount as i missed the spectacle a couple of weeks back

The YEP has now fixed the error.
